We do not give Forever Living a star score. It is a long-established, registered global company with real products, but individual distributor income varies enormously, so a single rating would mislead. The facts below let you judge for yourself.
Not financial advice. This page answers the common questions about Forever Living Products India and explains how its plan works. It is not a recommendation to join or to buy. Direct-selling income is not guaranteed and most distributors earn modest amounts, so weigh the time, the cost of monthly purchases, and the selling and recruiting effort before you decide.
Forever Living Products India in one minute

Forever Living Products India is the Indian arm of Forever Living Products, a US-founded (1978) aloe-vera company that is the world's largest aloe grower and manufacturer, present in around 150 countries, and operating in India from Mumbai as Forever Living Imports (India) Private Limited. You earn as a Forever Business Owner (FBO) by selling aloe-based products (up to about 43 percent retail profit) and building a team, with personal, group volume and leadership bonuses tracked in case credits. Joining is free and there are no demotions.

The honest caveat is the one that applies to all MLM: most distributors earn little after costs, the big earnings need a large, active team, and some commentators have compared the model to a pyramid scheme. This is information, not advice.

What is Forever Living Products India?

Forever Living Products India is the Indian operation of Forever Living Products, a global aloe-vera direct-selling company. The parent was founded in 1978 in Arizona, USA by Rex Maughan and is widely described as the world's largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of aloe-vera products, growing its own aloe on company-owned plantations. In India it trades as Forever Living Imports (India) Private Limited, with its head office in Mumbai, and has operated in the country for more than two decades.

Instead of selling through shops, Forever Living distributes aloe-based wellness, nutrition and personal-care products through independent distributors called Forever Business Owners (FBOs). FBOs earn from selling products at retail and from building and supporting a sales team, all measured in an internal unit called case credits. The "About" tab covers the company and its scale; the "Marketing plan" tab breaks the Forever Living business plan down step by step.

Company and scale

Forever Living is one of the biggest and oldest names in direct selling. It has operated for more than 45 years, reports millions of distributors across roughly 150 countries, and generates sales measured in the billions of dollars. A defining feature is vertical integration: the company owns its aloe plantations (including a very large plantation in the Dominican Republic and one in Texas), its manufacturing and its distribution, and its aloe products carry the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) seal. In India, the company has invested in a long-running local operation and regularly launches India-specific products.

That scale and history are meaningful legitimacy signals, but they describe the company, not the typical distributor's results, which is a separate question covered in the plan and disclosures below.

How does Forever Living compare with Amway, Vestige and Modicare?

Forever Living sits alongside other product-based direct sellers such as Amway, Vestige and Modicare. Its plan is a case-credit, unilevel-style structure focused on retail profit plus personal, group and leadership bonuses, whereas the Indian players use point-value (PV/BV) accumulative plans. All are registered companies with real products and the same core income reality, where most participants earn modestly and the top incomes need large, active teams.

What should you weigh before joining?

  • Most distributors earn little. The 43 percent and bonus figures are best cases that need steady retail sales and a large team.
  • Income leans on team-building. Group volume and leadership bonuses reward recruiting and developing Managers, not just personal sales.
  • You must stay "Active." Monthly case-credit activity (generally 4 cc) is needed to draw team bonuses, which is an ongoing cost.
  • Free to join, no demotions. Registration is free with no compulsory investment, and levels are retained once achieved, which lowers entry risk.
  • Real, certified products. Company-owned aloe farms and IASC certification are genuine quality markers.
  • Read the disclosures. The model has drawn pyramid-scheme comparisons and past regulatory issues abroad; see below and rely on the official income disclosure.

How does the Forever Living marketing plan work?

The Forever Living marketing plan runs on case credits (cc). Every product has a case-credit value, and your accumulated case credits move you up the levels and unlock bigger bonuses. You buy at a discount and sell at MRP for retail profit, earn a bonus for sponsoring new distributors, and earn group and leadership bonuses as your team grows. Importantly, all bonuses are paid on the retail price, and there are no pass-ups or demotions. Here is the Forever Living business plan, level by level and bonus by bonus.

The levels (Steps to Success)

You become Wholesale Qualified (a 30 percent discount) on purchasing 2 case credits within two consecutive months. To be paid team bonuses in a month you must be Active, generally 4 case credits with at least 1 personal.

Leadership ranks above Manager

Once you are a recognised Manager, higher titles are earned by developing Managers in your organisation:

Diamond-Sapphire Manager17 Managers
Diamond Manager25 Managers
Double Diamond Manager50 Managers
Triple Diamond Manager75 Managers

Reality check. Retail profit is real and immediate, but the layered bonuses only add up once you have a large, Active team of Supervisors and Managers, which most people never build. Budget for your own monthly Active purchases and treat the top percentages and the leadership titles as a ceiling, not a forecast.

What does Forever Living sell?

Aloe vera is the heart of the range. Forever Living grows its own aloe and builds most products around it, with IASC certification for aloe content. The catalogue spans aloe vera gel drinks, nutritional supplements and weight-management packs (such as the well-known Clean 9 programme), bee-derived products (bee propolis, honey), and skincare and personal-care lines like Aloe Propolis Creme and Aloe Vera Gelly, along with India-specific launches. Products are sold only through Forever Business Owners rather than ordinary retail, and each carries a case-credit value that feeds the plan above. The product side is genuine and well-certified; just judge the opportunity on the income reality, not the product quality alone.

Important disclosures

This block replaces a customer-reviews section. We do not publish invented reviews or a single star score. The points below are drawn from Forever Living's own marketing plan and public information.

Is it legitimate? As a company, yes. Forever Living Products is a real, long-established business founded in 1978, operating in around 150 countries, owning its aloe plantations and manufacturing, with IASC-certified products and a free, no-investment joining model. In India it is a registered entity, Forever Living Imports (India) Private Limited. These features clearly separate it from anonymous deposit or token schemes.

What about the income and the criticism? Forever Living runs a multi-level plan, and as across the MLM industry the large majority of distributors earn modest amounts, with earnings concentrated at the top. Some journalists and commentators have compared its multi-level distribution model to a pyramid scheme. Internationally it has also had regulatory episodes, including a 1990s tax dispute in Japan that was later withdrawn, and California Proposition 65 lawsuits (2012 to 2016) over lead levels in certain aloe products manufactured by an affiliate. We report these for context; treat any income example as a best case and rely on the official income disclosure.

India context. Forever Living operates in India as a direct seller under the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021, which require genuine products, disclosures and buy-back provisions and prohibit pyramid and money-circulation schemes. Direct selling is legal in India when income comes mainly from real product sales rather than enrolment, which is the test regulators apply across the sector.

MLMCompanyHub is not a regulator and makes no legal determination about Forever Living. This page summarises Forever Living's published marketing plan and public information so you can verify each point. Percentages, case-credit requirements and qualifying rules are revised periodically and can vary by country, so always check the current official Forever Living India plan and income disclosure before joining.

Frequently asked questions

What is Forever Living Products India?

Forever Living Products India is the Indian operation of Forever Living Products, an aloe-vera direct-selling (MLM) company founded in 1978 in Arizona, USA by Rex Maughan and known as the world's largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of aloe products. In India it operates as Forever Living Imports (India) Private Limited, based in Mumbai. It sells aloe-based wellness, nutrition and personal-care products through independent Forever Business Owners (FBOs), who earn from retail sales and from building a team under a case-credit marketing plan.

Is Forever Living legit or a pyramid scheme?

Forever Living is a real, long-established company (founded 1978, around 150 countries, owning its aloe farms and manufacturing), and joining is free with income based on product sales, so it is not an anonymous scheme. That said, some journalists have compared its multi-level model to a pyramid scheme, and as across the MLM industry most distributors earn little; income depends on retail selling and building a team. MLMCompanyHub makes no legal determination and presents the facts.

How does the Forever Living marketing plan work?

It runs on case credits (cc). You join free as a Novus Customer, buy at a discount and sell at MRP for up to about 43 percent retail profit, and move up as case credits accumulate: Assistant Supervisor (2 cc), Supervisor (25 cc), Assistant Manager (75 cc) and Manager (120 cc). Higher levels earn a bigger Personal Bonus (5 to 18 percent), a Group Volume Bonus (3 to 13 percent) on your team, and a Leadership Bonus (6, 3, 2 percent) on first, second and third generation Managers, plus gem, incentive and travel rewards. Bonuses are paid on retail price, with no pass-ups or demotions.

What is a case credit, an FBO and a Novus Customer?

A case credit (cc) is Forever Living's internal measure of sales volume; each product has a cc value, and accumulated case credits set your level and bonuses. An FBO (Forever Business Owner) is an independent distributor. A Novus Customer is a newly joined FBO who buys at Novus price and sells at MRP but has not yet reached Assistant Supervisor. On buying 2 case credits within two consecutive months an FBO becomes Wholesale Qualified (a 30 percent discount) at Assistant Supervisor. To earn most bonuses in a month you must be Active, generally 4 case credits with at least 1 personal.

How much can you earn with Forever Living?

The plan advertises up to about 43 percent retail profit plus layered bonuses, but those are best-case figures that need consistent retail selling and a large, active team. In practice most distributors earn modest amounts and many do not profit after their own product and activity costs, with earnings concentrated at the top. Treat any income example as a ceiling, not a typical result, and read the official income disclosure before joining.

What products does Forever Living Products India sell?

The range is built around aloe vera, grown on the company's own plantations. It includes aloe vera gel drinks, nutritional supplements and weight-management packs (such as Clean 9), bee-derived products (bee propolis, honey), and skincare and personal-care lines like Aloe Propolis Creme and Aloe Vera Gelly, plus India-specific launches. Products are IASC-certified for aloe content and sold only through Forever Business Owners, not ordinary retail.

How do you join Forever Living Products India, and what does it cost?

You join through an existing FBO by completing an application; registration is free with no compulsory investment. You buy products to use and sell, and become Wholesale Qualified (a 30 percent discount) once you purchase 2 case credits within two consecutive months, which is the Assistant Supervisor level. To keep earning bonuses you must stay Active each month. Confirm current joining and starter-pack options on the official Forever Living India site.
